Quality innovation award for 2010
Laatukeskus Excellence Finland organizes a quality innovation contest every year. In November 2010, CWP received the quality innovation award for 2010. The award was presented and signed by President Tarja Halonen.
CWP specialises in through-colouring of wood using environmentally friendly processes. We utilise a unique method for manufacturing through-coloured veneer, reconstituted veneer and laminated blanks. Colouring wood up to a thickness of 45 millimetres is possible. We focus on providing materials for the furniture and interior design market both in Finland and internationally.

Okko Design has started to represent CWP's materials in Sweden.

CWP will participate Finnish Business in Moscow -event at 25 of October 2011. Event combines a high level seminar and networking event for Finnish and Russian companies.

CWP's 0,6 mm reconstituted through-coloured birch veneer aroused interest in Interzum Fair 2011 in Cologne Germany, 25.-28.5.2011.
CWP received many interesting international contacts in Interzum. For example Heitz Furnierkantewerk company manufactures edgebandings also using CWP through-coloured materials.

CWP Coloured Wood Products launches a brand new wood material at Interzum – introducing the first Finnish through-coloured 0,6 mm thick reconstituted birch veneer for the furniture, fitted furniture and interior design markets.

CWP's surface material is used in parquet manufacturer Karelia-Upofloor's Wirkkala, Raita and Ruska parquet surfaces. Wirkkala became a RedDot Design Award winner in 2009.
